Meet the StaffBethany Hi, my name is Beth Melanson, I am one of the pet Stylists here at The Dog Shop. I love and enjoy working with animals and have always had jobs involving animals including, kennel attendant and vet assisting; it was from there I decided to go into dog grooming. I enjoy making dogs look and feel their best. I graduated from Maryland School of Dog Grooming in 1997. I worked at a high end grooming salon for three years continuing to learn the skills of a Master Groomer. I learned the standard clips for all breeds, hand scissoring and how to safely work with old dogs, puppies and everything in between. From there, I went on to open a shop in Virginia. My husband and I later decided to move to Massachussets to be closer to his family. I enjoy working at The Dog Shop (since 2007) and I continue to enjoy making all the dogs look and feel great! |
